So we heard via my brother about this place in Malad, ID that makes really good scones. Having nothing to do on a Friday night we took a 45 minute road trip to check it out.
YES sometimes we are hard pressed for entertainment. And YES sometimes our entertainment does come in the form of food.
I now present you with...
Me & Lou's
The doily's, lace table cloths, abundance of wicker baskets, flower imprinted seats and wall paper all made me feel like I time traveled back to the 1980s.
Scone Result: Very good. Very tasty. However, Clayton claims that Angie's has better scones. FYI the Me & Lou's source, my brother claims it is the other way around (Me & Lou's before Angie's). I have never had a scone at Angie's so I can't cast my vote. Both Clayton and I agreed that Raspberry Honey Butter at Me & Lou's was A-m-a-z-i-n-g. Their salad bar (had to eat something healthy to balance out all those carbs) left something to be desired...but we weren't there for the salad bar...we were there for scones.

I've never had Angie's scones, but since I think I have a better chance of going to Angies than Me & Lou's, I'll try that first. They look yummy!
I love me and lou's. And they have really good clam chowder. We should go sometime!
