LA-Z-BOY COMPANY PARTY

Saturday was the La-Z-Boy Company party at the Celebration Centre in Logan. Here are a couple of pictures from the event. The look on Clayton's face doesn't even to begin to explain the sheer terror he felt going on some of these rides. Thankfully he came prepared with an extra pair of pants!
Clayton sez: Holy crap this crap was some scary crap!!!! I screamed like a freakin girl on everything... even the putt putt golf course. It was pretty intense.

THE WRECKERS & KEITH URBAN

Last night Clayton and I went to the Keith Urban concert in Salt Lake. Keith Urban is one of my favorite country artists. He put on an amazing performance! Probably one of the best concerts I have ever been too.
Mighty Mighty Claytone: I agree... this concert was freakin' awesome. I would say out of all the man crushes that I have, my man crush on Keith Urban would be the largest.

Michelle Branch and the Wreckers opened for him.

He played all my favorite songs, new and old. This is him playing my absolute favorite Keith Urban song "Tonight I Wanna Cry".

ROSE BOWL

Thursday night Clayton, I and the family flew to California. BYU played UCLA on Saturday so it was a good excuse to hang out in Cali for a few days. On Friday, we first went to Huntington Beach. Because I know my dad so well, I knew that he wouldn't want to drive very far to the beach. By "very far" I mean more than 5 miles. I convinced him that Huntington Beach was the "closest" beach to our hotel. Which is somewhat true. I wanted to go to Huntington because I had been there a few times before and knew that there was awesome shopping. If he would have known that then my shopping dreams that day would have become nonexistent. Anyway, we did have a great time at the beach. Cortney and Brandon rented a few boogie boards which we all took turns using. Clayton and I brought our frisbee, volleyball, and paddle ball set from home. We knew paddle ball would be a hit seeing how it was mom and pop's favorite thing to do when they were in Hawaii. After we all went shopping (we had to take turns so dad had someone to hang out with on the beach) we went back to the hotel to get ready for a fireside that Bronco Mendenhall and the BYU football team were putting on for the members in northern LA. Dad wanted to get good seats so we got there really early...2 HOURS EARLY! If they had someone from BYU speak at church each Sunday he might get there on time!!! It was an excellent fireside. CRAYTON: The only thing better than my butt... my boobs! Too bad I'm all turned around... NO PEEP SHOW FOR YOU!!!!

The next day was game day. But, before the game we wanted to stop and see the LA temple. Yes, we are all wearing BYU shirts with the exception of Cort. He was trying to impress all the ladies with his nice button down shirt!

After awful traffic and I mean AWFUL we finally made it to the game. It was easy to remember where you parked because it was on the golf course...we parked on hole 9. It was fun to go to one of the oldest and largest college football stadiums of all time. However, it would have been better if BYU would have won the game.

Thanks Mom and Dad for a great trip! Oh yeah this last pic is of the "awesome" car that Clayton, Kami, Cortney and myself got to drive while we were there. Gotta love the copper colored Chevy HHR's. El Clayton: I keed you not... thees car plays la cucaracha when you beep the horn holmes! Thees was the best car ever... FOR ME TO POOP ON!!
