SPRING BREAK 07

For Spring Break '07 Clayton and I decided to head down to Southern Utah, Arizona and Las Vegas. Our fist stop was the Grand Canyon. We drove and drove and drove. Finally we got to the road which takes you to the North rim. The road greeted us with big "ROAD CLOSED" sign. Come to find out that the North rim doesn't open in March it opens in MAY! Who knew that they could close the Grand Canyon!?! Clayton demonstrates in the pic what he thought of the closure (don't look too close though).
Canyonless Clayton: Yeah... that sign needed washing.
The trip to the "Grand Entrance" wasn't a complete waste though. On the way through the poly towns we saw this awesome sign!
We hiked for a couple of days in Zion. Here are some pictures from a few of the hikes.
Really bad night picture of us and the St. George Temple. Yes, we are doing the "same" pose that we always do. The morning we left, we went through and did a session.
Quail Lake where we were attacked by nats!
Las Vegas Temple. The only bright spot of that very dirty city!
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Vegas.
I guess there is one other bright spot in Vegas...the Bellagio water show. Pretty amazing.

JASON ALDEAN & RASCAL FLATTS

Last Friday, Clayton and I went the to Rascal Flatts concert at the Energy Solutions Arena

Jason Aldean opened for them and he was awesome!
We weren't on the floor or anything, but we had pretty decent seats. Our seats got even better when they got on this cart cage thingy and rode it to the back of the arena.

Claytonius: I HOPE RASCALL FLATS HEARS THIS: QUIT MAKING STUPID COMMENTS DURING YOUR SHOW!!! Oh and Bass Player man... dude, way to show off all your skills on EVERY FREAKIN INSTRUMENT BUT THE BASS!!! You seriously soloed on EVERYTHING! I was shocked you didn't bust out the spoons! Then with all the "Oh we're Rascall Flats and we're so cool... all the ladies want us" talk...c'mon. With the singers flamer pants and the bass players huge ego that smothered everyone in the room... I must say I lost a lot of respect.

Kudos to JASON ALDEAN!!! You rocked!!!
