HAWAII (KAUAI) DAY #7 part B: Kipu Falls

HAWAII (KAUAI) DAY #7 PART B: Kipu Falls & then some

(Don't worry this post will be shorter then the last one on Niihau)

After Niihau we drove over to Kipu Falls.
Looking back we could have spent all day at this little place

Clayton doing a back flip off of the rock (show-off)
Since I'm definitely a one upper, I thought I would dazzle Clayton and the other gawker's with my amazing Double F acrobatic move (feet first fall).

There was also this really sweet rope swing

 GO!
 Clayton's drop off
After Kipu we headed to Donkey Beach
I guess back in the day it was a nudist beach or "clothing optional" beach.
We saw ZERO nudists.
It was getting late.  All the nuddies had probably gone home.
On the way back to the hotel we stopped at Kilauea Bakery & Pau Hana Pizza
Since our Pizza was going to be a 25-30 minute wait and we were so hungry that our stomach's were starting to devour themselves, we ordered some macaroons to suppress the hunger pains.  One was a macadamia macaroon and the other was a chocolate dipped guava macaroon.  Very good.
Slooooooow
Don't go if you are in a hurry or hungry when you oreder (you will be hungry when you get your food)
Well worth the wait.
It's been a few weeks now so I can't exactly remember what was on both pizza's, but one had smoked ono (type of fish) and the other had pepperoni, pineapple and a smoked marinara sauce (i think).
They were both fabulous!
We took the pizza back to the hotel and had a romantic dinner of pizza and crystal light (in wine glasses no less).  There wasn't even any tv watching while we ate.  We actually conversed over dinner.  Can you believe that!?!

After dinner we went and got...ice cream (what else???) from Lappert's.  It was ok, but nothing special especially for the price.  Tropical Dreams is much better!

And that's a wrap on Day 7.

are you tired of all my posts yet???

seriously Hawaii is beautiful. I can see a definite tan difference on day 7. And don't you think your trick was a triple F acrobatic move?

Ok. Really, Heidi. If you don't tell me if you survived the treacherous hike, I'm never reading your blog again. And I'll have you black balled from Yogurtland. I know people.
