NEGRO BILL CANYON / MORNING GLORY ARCH
Can one go to Moab and not hike to an arch?
I think not.
Apparently the trailhead is also a nice place to lay your head at night.
Either this guy...
A) couldn't find an available campsite (which is understandable since everything under the sun in from Green River to Monticello was booked Memorial weekend)
B) wanted to cross "sleeping on asphalt" off of his bucket list
C) Was so drunk that he didn't have a clue where he was
D) wanted to get an early start on the 4+ mile hike
E) Decided that sleeping in his jeep was just not "roughing it" enough.
The end of the trail is Morning Glory Arch. We thought it was just a hole in the rock until we got up close and could actually see where the arch and the rock split apart.
Almost as good as anything we could see in Arches National Park and the best part is...it was free.
