Date Night Clayton and Heidi Style
Let's be honest
Pretty much every Friday night is date night for us
But this one was different.
How you ask?
Because we went OUT to see a movie (like in an actual theater with popcorn and sticky floors) instead of renting one from redbox and watching it at home...in our fat pants...stuffing our faces...laying on the couch...stopping for bathroom breaks.
This is what we saw
Obviously Clayton's choice. But I liked it. I really did.
In fact, after the movie I made a passing comment that now "maybe I need to watch the old X-Men movies". Apparently, Clayton ate that right up because later on in the weekend he searched our cable guide and dvr'd X-Men 1, 2 &3.
After the movie we ran home and grabbed the tandem (which Clayton wants to rename The Twofer) and peddled our hungry hearts over to a new restaurant called Super Burrito.
Can you tell that Clayton loves all my picture taking?
FYI we ate at Super Burrito not American Family Insurance
You know the restaurant serves authentic Mexican food when the menu reads in Mexican
(see: All THIS plates cost...)
We got the fish burrito which stunk something fierce and pork burrito which was decent.
Unfortunately for Super Burrito I don't think they will be around for super long. We went in during prime dining hours on a Friday night and there were only two other people in there.
Next up we peddled on over to play some mini golf.
Meet
He-woman
Nose Beard
One of us will not be taking up golf any time soon.
Care to guess who?
Hint: probably the person who got a 14 on a par 3 hole
Clayton, smirk and all boasting, bragging, showing his free game card for being the wiener winner
We also got a few tricks in
Next we headed home to roast s'mores...
from inside our house
Clayton is laughing in this picture because we took like 3 or 4 pictures all with my eyes closed. I am trying really hard to keep them open here.
Is there anyway to cook a s'more than to catch it on fire?
Thanks to the man of mine for accompanying me on the fabulous date

I laughed when I read the title of this post because my first thought was, isn't every day date night for you two adventurers? Seriously, it will take me a lifetime of marriage to even come close to getting on half of the dates you guys take in a month!
You are killing me with your eyes opened wide pictures. very funny. I roast marshmallows on the grill too, but not from inside the house. Weird.
HAHAHA!!! Oh my heck! I love that you roasted marshmallows out of your house! You guys are so funny! We saw X-Men on Friday night too - and really loved it! Good movie! YAY for date nights!!
I'm guessing it's you who won't be taking up golf soon. Love the tricks you do with the clubs.
