MILL CREEK FALLS
While all of Northern Utah was getting pounded with rain and snow we were seeing only blue skies and sunshine in Moab. With those blue skies and sunshine came the hot temperatures. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. Truth of the matter is that I love the heat.
Love it
We took a short hike to Mill Creek Falls
I thought I had taken more/better pictures, but I guess not. These pictures do not do the beauty of the falls justice. The angles of these pictures make the falls look tiny when in all actuality they were bigger. If you are ever in the Moab area I highly suggest going to Mill Creek.
However...
If you go on a weekend go early because it got extremely crowded the later the day wore on.
There was plenty of good people watching to be had as well
Such as...
* the mom who spent hours coloring in the massive tattoo on her arm
* the girl who decided that carrying a can of beer was just too much work. Her solution: Fill your CamelBak up with beer. And so she did. Funny stuff.
* the guy who walked by us to get a new can of beer at least 8 times in 30 minutes. He really should have talked to the CamelBak beer drinker
* the dad who gathered up all his courage and finally jumped from the rock above to the pool below after 47 minutes of peer pressure gathering up his courage.
* After wondering if we were the lone Mormon's we finally spotted another group who just had to be Mormon too. You can't wear a Tweedy Bird swimsuit and a BYU hat and not be Mormon, right???
