No fancy LBD's (Little Black Dresses) at this party.  I believe that we worked hard enough during the 365 days that was 2011 to watch it leave while wearing the most comfortable clothing possible.

After a scrumptious dinner made by the two of us we were joined at our party by my brother, Brandon.  He had a rough week (probably still crying about not being able to see Savior of the World) and was looking for a place where he could just hang out and relax.

Well he was wrong because December 31 was party central McMurdie style.

(ok so maybe I just like to think that we are crazy fun)

I was bound and determined to make it until midnight all on my own without the help of my husband or my cellphone alarm clock.  I needed to cross it off of the winterBINGO list.

In the comfort of our home and sweatpants we convinced Brandon to play a few games of Yahtzee and Monopoly Deal.

Then we got our dance on (Just Dance 3 that is) 

Well Clayton and I did

 All those years of dancing really paid off.

 Apparently this is the dance where the CLAWS come out.

 The facial expressions are further proof that Clayton has dancing in his genes.

 Proof that we made it until midnight.  Toasted in the 2012 with egg nog.

 Couldn't seem to get a decent picture of us.

Here it looks like Clayton has one tooth and I (surprise, surprise) have my eyes closed.
