Continuing on with our Christmas Eve festivities
Eve of Christmas featuring 69% of the Andrew clan
(yes I have mad math skillz)
I only say 69% of us were there because Nate and Rachel and boys weren't able to be with us.
(MATH 1010: 9 in attendance / divided by 13 total family members is 69%. Thank you pops for all those years you refused to let me use a calculator to complete my math homework)
We held the family madness festivities at our house in Logan because it was easier for Kami and Erik who would be traveling back to SLC that night. After our turkey dinner we worked all those calories consumed with the present game. Basically you wrap one present over and over and over again (and if you want to make it even harder use packaging tape or duct tape). A pair of dice is passed around. If you roll a double then you hurry and put on gloves and a coat (party poopers in my house decided against the coat after the first round) and try to unwrap the present. Meanwhile the dice keeps going around. Who ever opens the present first wins the present.
Sure wish I had gotten a picture when Grandma tried to use her teeth to open it. I think we were all holding our breath that there wouldn't be a tooth causality that night.
If you know my dad you know that he has big hands. The hardest part of the game for him was putting on the gloves before someone rolled a double.
Oh I was so close...yet so far away.
Surprisingly the one time dad got the gloves on he won.
(PRIZE: Elf, popcorn and M&M's)
After the game we decorated Gingerbread people.
Want a closer look at our masterpiece? You know you do...
Thankfully our gingerbread PEOPLE decorating skills is better than our gingerbread HOUSE decorating skills.
Later we read the story of Christ's birth in Luke and gave our gifts to Jesus.
Then presents from Grams and then pictures with grams.
Great night. Thanks fam.
