I'M BAAAAAAAAACK
I'm told that some of you are tired of pulling up the blog and seeing the entry from December 24th.
Well...you are probably going to regret saying that because I have about 1.5 GAZILION posts to do from the last 2 weeks.
First up...Christmas Eve at the McMurdie house
I love this picture of Chloe. She is always so happy to see me and it makes me feel so special. I just love the girl to pieces.
After a brunch of German pancakes (the good kind), homemade buttermilk carmel syrup, bacon ice cream, cheesy scrambled eggs and bacon wrapped little smokies we worked off our dinner with a rousing game of BINGO.
Brady scored some bath time body paint
And Jared scored these lovely toe socks
Clayton just loves Lilly.
After BINGO we decorated sugar cookies
Aubri - don't be mad that I posted these next two pictures. They are awesome and you are HOTT!
I may or may not have tricked my niece into eating a peppered decorated sugar cookie. Unfortunately this resulted in tricking Clayton with his very own "special" pepper decorated cookie.
I think Brady lasted all of 2.5 seconds with the sugar cookie decorating before he attention went to Nana's singing village
Santa Claus used to come visit the all of the extended McMurdie family on Christmas Eve, but since they decided to do away with the extended family part on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus was also taken out of the picture. However, he (Santa) didn't want to leave Clayton's family without his Christmas cheer so he sent his favorite Elf, Buddy in his place.
Some of the kids refused to sit on Buddy's lap and that made Buddy sad.
It was a great start to the day and I/we had a lot of fun starting some new family traditions at the McMurdies.
NEXT UP: Christmas Eve Andrew addition

Oh, haha! Buddy the elf looks so good! Looks like a lot of fun. How many of you had the peppered cookies? Love it!
I can't stop laughing at buddy. Or that someone might not want to sit on his lap :). I can't even look at him without laughing.
