JANUARY BIRTHDAY'S

January birthday's are pretty much the coolest thing ever!

That's what I used to think.  Now that I am older and have experienced a January birthday or two (or thirty) I have come to really, really, really dislike having my birthday in January.

First of all it is COLD so you can't really do much.  As a kid this didn't really bother me much because winter was my favorite season.  As a little girl I loved winter so much that I dreamed of having a winter wedding.  I know, right!?!  What was I thinking??? Anyway my thoughts and feelings on this particular season have obviously changed.

Second, from about middle school on all I asked for for my birthday was clothes.  Have you ever tired to go shopping for clothes after Christmas?  Sure there are good deals if you can find something you like.  Everything is so picked over.

Even though I am full of complaints for my January birthday I must say that my parents, siblings and Clayton have always done a great job to make it feel special.  And it is kinda nice to have something to look forward to after Christmas!

Anyway...
In our family there are 3 of us that have birthday's in January.  Clayton, myself and Tydon.  And they are close enough together that we celebrate all three birthday's at the same time.  This year our Sunday birthday dinner fell on Tydon's actual birthday.

If you were there and heard Grandma Andrew's blessing on the food you would have known that this little guy pretty much stole the show.  And that is perfectly fine.  Birthday's are so much more fun when you are 4...errr...5.  Plus he's cute and that doesn't hurt either.

Mom and Pops gave us some money for our upcoming trip.  Thanks mom and pops!
Ty got this Bumble Bee Transformers helmet.  It was a huge hit...with everyone else.  Once Ty saw how much fun everyone was having with it it was a huge hit for him too.
Thanks to all of mi familia who made this a great day!!

I got the computer back :) Sorry about Grandma's prayer. I hope you noticed how dad kept bringing up everyone's birthday. I thought it was funny. I don't think Gram got it though.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO one of the best SISTERS EVER!

Well, I'm kinda late replying but Happy Birthday from me too! It was a fun celebration, especially getting everyone together. You have to admit that the part right before dinner was kinda funny, but kinda sad too. Love...love....LOVE all my January birthdays!
