Crossin' it off of the Bucket List now
Our two open water dives were at Homestead Crater in Midway, Utah and Bear Lake.
FYI-I felt like the kid from A Christmas Story in that wet suit. Those suckers are impossible to move it. I felt that all I could do was waddle.
I would be lying if I said it was the most fun and enjoyable experience I have ever had.
Problem #1: My ears don't like to be below 6 feet. In fact, they down right hate it. Pain, oh the pain. A patient instructor + Sudafed, helps tons.
Problem #2: Cold. Cold water and me do not mix. I do not like being cold. 'nuf said
I thought that it would be easy. I mean how hard can it be to breath into a regulator!?! Oh how wrong I was. But it was so worth it.
We are done.

So where are you going to celebrate? Were you certified when you went to Hawaii? Did you use Hans? (sick of my questions?)
Mexico is a wonderful place to dive if you ever get there....warm warm water and crystal clear
AWESOME. Of all the people I know who get SCUBA certified (yes, it's common around here), YOU GUYS will put it to good use!
I was a disaster when I got certified. It didn't help I had a nasty cold, but also couldn't clear my dang mask, not to mention it takes me FORVER to get down. Then on mine and the hubby's 1st real dive trip to the, I didn't plan on getting motion sick and was even nauseated 10 ft under water. Anyhow ... once I figured out what makes me comfortable and if I keep myself drugged up on motion sick pills, I really have a good time. There are so many cool things to look at. But now for the real fun ... you guys need to plan your 1st dive trip!! GOOD LUCK and enjoy yourselves!!!
First off you guys look AWESOME in your scuba outfits. It sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to see the pictures you take. Ty still loves you.
