HAWAII - DAY #10
Because of an early winter swell resulting in larger waves we weren't able to snorkel (or dive) as much as we would have liked on this trip. Most of our favorite spots were pretty crazy while we were there. By the time we were leaving things had calmed down a bit (go figure). Luckily we were able to get a few days of under water time in.
A few years ago we did an early morning snorkel at electric beach in hope to see and swim with some dolphins. We were able to see some, but by the time we got out to where they were they were gone. Fast forward to 2010. We wanted to try our luck again. However, the dolphins refused to join us for our jaunt this time and so we just swam with the regular fishes oh...and one sting ray (we were too slow to get the camera to capture him).

If you know me at all you know I love farmer's markets. So it should be no surprise that we tried to go to one while in HI. Kapiolani Farmer's Market was next. Here is some strawberry-azuki bean mochi. Oh. Wow!!! Heavenly!
Later we met up with Clayton's friend from BYU-H, Veronica at Shimazu Shave Ice. Look at the size of that beast.

While there we were able to attend one of Kaimi's last football games. We met up with Clayton's BFF, Bryson and the rest of the Pataray fam. St. Louis (Kaimi's team) killed Punahou.

So glad that you tried out all the places to eat over and over again so we don't starve next year. So how much money should I start saving?!
I think a Hawaii farmer's market would be pretty cool.
