SUN VALLEY

Idaho.

Our neighbor to the north.
You proved me wrong.
There is beauty in your borders.
It is a little place called Sun Valley.
(All though the drive to get there left something to be desired)

Edward Jones treated us to a meeting in Sun Valley last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For Clayton it was mostly all work and very little play, for me it was all about the play. We left Thursday and spent the night in Idaho falls (yes we took the long way). Don't have much to say other than it. was. awesome.

Attended session in the Rexburg LDS Temple

ummm...curious why two of the four Idaho Temples (Idaho Falls and Twin Falls) were closed for maintenance at the same time... Twizl Berry. After the Temple we ate "dinner" here. More frozen yogurt. Did you expect anything else? Yes, I'm slightly obsessed. I didn't even have to use the www to find this one. It just magically appeared as we were driving around finding somewhere to eat. Meant to be.

PS.Recommend it. $0.39/oz. good, Good, GOOD flavors and all the toppings your heart can desire. You will need it after the long, boring drive. Trust me.

IDAHO FALLS LDS TEMPLE - Closing the Temple doesn't stop us from visiting it.
Walked around the Idaho Falls-Falls.

My picture doesn't do it justice. So beautiful. This is what it should really look

- credit to image (a.k.a. stole it from) google pictures and Northwest Magazines

Deer. Cool.
Hiking (ok let's be honest it was more of a walk) in Sun Valley.
This picture doesn't do Sun Valley justice.
It really is beautiful.
Camouflage "No Trespassing" sign...interesting

Curious as to why you would camouflage the sign it if you didn't want people to know that trespassing is forbidden.
Ice show rehearsals at the resort.
Awful picture.

Tandememing (is that a word?)

Our Clayton Tomas is waaaay better and cheaper (like $free.99).

If you know Clayton and his sense of humor at all you will totally understand this picture. For those of you who don't...sorry I'm not explaining.

Horse back riding.
View of Ketchum and Sun Valley at the top of Dollar Mountain.
Can I just say that the wild flowers were amazing.

View of Sawtooth Mountains atop Gelena Summit.

More mountains...can't remember the name.
Now you may be asking yourselves "Why is Clayton posed like a fruity homosexual?"

Could it be because he forgot to pack dress socks so we had to run to the nearest store and get him some female hosiery?
Pretty Sexy, eh!?!

Came home through Twin Falls.
Shoshone Falls
Twin Falls
The name "Twin" Falls is slightly misleading since they made a dam and only let the other fall flow on certain dates. lame.

Good times.

Question for all you readers (all two of you)...

Do Clayton and I look like brother and sister?

We have been told that before, but were told THREE times in Sun Valley by total random people. Two of the times happened in the same hour...one by a coworker's wife and the other by some random chica stranger.

I'm not sure how to react when people say this. Do you say,
1. "Gee thanks we actually are related and our kids will probably come out with 3 arms and 1 eye." or...

2. "I knew I should have plucked my eyebrows this morning." or...

3. "Thank you! I find myself so attractive that I tried to marry someone who has all my best features."

Don't get me wrong I'm not offended in the least. I actually like that we resemble each other. However the comment coming from complete strangers kinda wierds us both out and creates awkwardness between asker and askee's.

I think people always say that if your hair is the same color... that's what I get all the time with Spencer's sister even though we look NOTHING alike. Looks like a fruitful trip!

I think Clayton should wear the women's socks all the time. he looks very nice in them!
I think it is just the hair and skin coloring that makes you look alike. That would be weird to think that your husband looks like your brother. EW!

I have noticed we most people kinda look like or have some same features as their spouse. It might just be something small but I have noticed that is my husbands family.

You guys do make a attractive couple.

keep having fun and take care.

Ha ha ha! Love the socks! That is hilarious! I am always so impressed with all of your out-doorsy-ness :) I love Idaho Falls, it is so beautiful! And, Michael and I have been told that we look alike too... I 100% disagree... people are weird :)

OK, random...we were in Sun Valley Sunday through Wednesday and we rented a tandem bike that looks suspiciously like the one you rented! How crazy is that? I love Sun Valley! Maybe I'll see you in Lewiston this weekend.Ü

Um, yes, you kinda look similar, but mostly you look like your children will be STUNNING. That's what I think. Um the "fruity homo" comment made me spit water. HILARIOUS. Takes a real man to be ok with wearing anything that falls under the category of "hosiery"...

For the third time...I will try and leave a comment. Yes! I think you and Clayton look alike...as husband and wife. And...YES! I think you will have very stunning kids (hint hint). Glad to see you were able to make it to a temple session once you found a temple that was opened. Loved all the pics. Very pretty. Loved that you got to go horseback riding. Love you both

I second that people are VERY swayed by hair color. Ha. But also, I think that it probably has to do with your ease with each other, they know you're close, but misguess how because of your hair color and the fact that you both tan and have dark eyes. Maybe a little more PDA will give people the correct impression. :) Also, I don't resemble John, but I'm sure we're merging into the same person some times, haha, we both go to say something or comment on something RANDOM and it's the same thing. Freaky.
