PARIS ICE CAVES

Aren't you special...

Seeing how it has been 15 days since my last post I thought I would "treat" you to not one but TWO posts today. I know! Aren't you so glad that you got out of bed !?! I'm sure my blog gives each and everyone of you a reason to live.

PARIS ICE CAVES
Last weekend before we hit the lake we decided to check out the Ice Caves in Paris, ID. Pretty sure I was expecting something a little more headlamp worthy, but the caves were still cool none the less (is that one word?) Although the boy scout pouting on a rock talking about how he hates camping and this place has "got the most mosquito's on earth" sure didn't think so. For your information I didn't feel or see one mosquito.

C-diddy entering the cave
Me doing that stupid "I don't know how to pose by myself pose". Posing recommendations welcome. Good thing I wore my reflecting running jacket.
Just so you know Clayton is DEATHLY afraid of heights so for him voluntarily going to the top of the cave and hanging his feet over the side was a HUGE feat.

What's up with the sweatshirt over the shoulders you ask?
I don't have an answer...sorry.
Good thing we have a tripod and timer or you might forget what we look like together...seeing how I have a million pictures of us doing the same pose. Again pose recommendations soooo very welcome.

Now that's a different pose. Still a stupid pose, but different.

Clayton deciding that climbing up the walls of the cave with broken ribs is not a good idea.
Smart man I married.

LION PUPS FROM A BLUE SOX GAME
Now we come to another food bucket list item.
Salt Lake Magazine listed the lion pups from the Smithfield Blue Sox snack shack as one of the top 100 Utah Locavores. Something about the batter. Clayton informed me about 8 or 9 times prior to feasting on the lion pups that lion pups are a fancy name for corn dogs. Personally I couldn't tell you if they were better than other dipped wieners or not because I haven't had a corn dog since ... oh... about 1985. So to me they were good. However the expert (Clayton) wishes that it had more batter.

Not sure if the Blue Sox won or not. We ate and ran. And that's how we roll.

I saw your adopted sister -- we had lunch. It was quite beautiful to see her trying to go back to her native roots with her dark hair.... ;)

How are you? good I hope. I hope your indiginous health is keeping you alive and well... and prospering.

Ah the memories... we went to the ice caves for girls camp several years and each time I had to run back for help because no one brought enough water!

And the lion pups... my in-laws probably made them for you! Must say I will never stomach one myself but everyone goes nuts over them.

Directions to that cave please! Jabperkins@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance! It looks awesome. I might have to start referring to Clayton as MR. GQ with that sweatshirt look.

We went to the ice caves last year for girls camp. Did you see the deer stuck in the ice?

Candy was killing me with kami going back to her native roots with the dark hair. Still laughing :)
