This will be my 3rd and final post of the day. I. am. worn. out. New Year's will have to wait.
BirthWEEK day #3 went like this:
Right after New Year's I asked Clayton what adventure bucket list item he wanted to accomplish in 2010. He said scuba diving. That makes sense. We have had this scuba article hanging on our fridge since 2006. It even survived our move. Plus he often mentions how much he regrets not certifying at BYU-H. After talking to our friends Jenn and Brandon on Sunday I knew that it was meant to be and that this would be a great birthday present.
If you know Clayton you know he is like a fish. He loves the water and loves to swim, snorkel, and surf. See below for proof.
I looked into scuba certifications and decided that we would have to talk about times and dates because his schedule is crazy sometimes. Instead I decided to surprise him with (ok us...it is actually for both of our birthdays) an underwater camera and then we would book the class later.

Instead I decided to surprise him with (ok us...it is actually for both of our birthdays) an underwater camera and then we would book the class later. So this is how it all went down. I put some directions into our GPS and had Clayton follow them. He had no idea where we were going. Our destination was Hyrum Dam...I'm positive that we will never scuba there, but hey it was a body of water and it served my purpose. Once we parked I gave him a letter explaining how we both want to scuba dive and that we will. It also said some mushy stuff that I'm sure none of you care about.
Once he read the letter I gave him his gift to open. Low and behold the underwater digital camera. Awesome. Then we got out and took pictures with our snorkel gear. Yes we are nerds.
Clayton was really happy and we both can't wait to do this. Just this morning I was given a name of a guy in the valley who does classes for a reasonable price. I will be calling soon.Just imagine tornadoes chasing it. hahaha. Side note: it was soo good to see you guys on Sunday. It has been too long, but talking all throughout Sacrament meeting made it seem like just yesterday! HAVE A BLAST IN MAUI!!!
Well Clayton hope you enjoyed BirthWEEK Day #3! Don't worry today's adventure is almost as cool.

That is hilarious! I pert near peed my pants when I saw it--thanks for the Penske truck! I think scuba diving is awesome...to watch on TV. Maybe I'll change my mind in Hawaii. We need to get together more often. Good times, good times.
Oh, and Happy Birthday Clayton!
We are scuba certified and it is awesome....what is the name of the guy you have? Just wondering if it's the same guy we went to.....he was awesome and very reasonably priced. But just so you know-you can't do it while pregnant-he he
