BIRTHweek CELEBRATION DAY #1

DAY # 1: The ACTUAL Birthday

Not going to lie...probably wasn't the best of days. Going back to work after 2 weeks of holiday fun is H-A-R-D. Real. Hard. Not to mention getting back into a routine of exercising to loose all those pounds the holidays "pounded" into us. Ok the whole "pound" thing was lame. Sorry.

We were both so swamped at work that we didn't have much time to celebrate (hence we are thankful for the weeklong celebration). Clayton had a late appointment so when I got home we hurried and ate his birthday meal...

Yes I am a lame cook. Yes we LOVE cereal. Yes we will dine out later (or I will *gasp* cook) to celebrate better. Yes I DO take pictures of pretty much everything.

a. Post Shredded Wheat Wheat 'n Bran: because Clayton has wanted something with fiber to "clean out" his system from the aforementioned holiday pounds.
b. Quaker Life Maple 'n Brown Sugar: because he has been wanting to try it. ps-awesome.
c. Post Shredded Wheat Vanilla Almond: because he LOVES anything with Vanilla.

When Clayton got home he opened his first present(s) of the week. Spoiler alert: it was a Volcom jacket. Sadly his lame wife got him practically the same one he already has. Great job Heidi. It is already back on it's way to the surf shop in South Carolina as we speak/type/read. Clayton also loves V8 and has been wanting to try the Picante V8. Strike 2. I got the Spicy Hot V8. Wow I'm battin' 100!

Sadly I can't call Birth DAY #1 a success. However, hopefully the plans I have for later in the week will make up for it.
