Last Friday, Candace and Nicole stopped by our house to give Clayton and I a good-bye present (grass skirt and macadamia nut cookies) and poem.

I had big plans for us this summer
But now you are leaving me and that is a bummer
Volleyball by day and bbq's by night
Now with tears in my eyes these words do I write
I know that there are boys and school
if I kept you from that I would be a fool
I'm glad you decided not to go to the "U"
because that would make me want to eat poo
However, without you Icon won't be the same
Going to work each day will feel like some cruel game
Thank you for all you have taught me
knowing the secrets to free concerts gives me glee (that's right I said GLEE!!!)
Clayton and I will mostly miss your happy smiles
Thinking about you guys will help us run miles
And if the time shall come that we run to Cali
we WILL stop and see you in the Salt Lake Valley
If you ever come back to the valley of the Cache
I will get you jobs in a flash
Just remember if school and boys don't work out (or put out:)
USU and my two brothers will help you out
Members of the family you will be
Just thinking about that makes me happy
Love you both! Keep in touch and remember to send wedding invites our way...that is IF you decide not to take me up on my offer to arrange a marriage between you guys and my two brothers!!!

Oh My Gosh! I can't believe you wrote a poem. Its good. I guess you got the creative genes for our family. Now, besides all your other talents, we can add poet too. Anyway, have a great day! Love
