I am not a snowboarder, I am a skier and have been since I was 8 yrs old.
But I am open to new things so...
Not too bad for my first time, eh!?!Ok so maybe this isn't me, but it was what my wonderful teacher Clayton thought I should be at the end of the night.
Two positives from Friday night
1. I Did Not fall getting off of the Lift once!
2. I Mastered the "Floating Leaf"
Unfortunately, I did not master carving, jumps, or anything involving my snowboard suspended in air!
My temperamental camera battery decided to die as soon as we got to the mountain, so this is the only picture I got. ENJOY!
p.s. my butt hurts

Wow, Heidi, you are brave! I went skiing for my second full day on Saturday and I learned to turn (no help from Spencer) We should all go night skiing/boarding before this season is over!
Just so everyone knows... I was peeing in the picture at the bottom. That's right... peeing.
Haha! LOVE snowboarding! Sorry about the butt! I lauged because that is how my first few times were and the "leafing" that is so funny! I can see you doing it right now! I think you needed me to teach you, i would be nice, you know i love "skiing" with you! good memories!
