MOTHER'S DAY 2009

Ya, I know I'm like 2 weeks late on this post. Nonetheless Mother's should be paid tribute to everyday not just one day in May. Saying that I don't feel to bad about posting it now.

Clayton and I have been blessed with two awesome Mother's. By awesome I mean freaking rad. And by rad I mean radical as in the days of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Nana (aka Shira) Kayleen (aka Heidi's mom)So to the two of you Clayton and I say THANK YOU! The two of us couldn't have asked for better mom's. Thanks for filling our homes with love, support and patience (along with cookies, brownies and ice cream). One day we hope that you will raise our kids as well as you have raised us. What? You won't raise them? How about babysitting? If I am as half a good of a mom as you two have been to us I will consider it a success. I have pretty big shoes to fill and I do have big...er...large feet. Love you both! Happy belated Mother's Day!

On that note here are some pics from Mother's Day 2009 (we celebrated it at the Andrew house this year).

The girls after Church. You don't wear jeans to Church Kami! What were you thinking!?!

We were about to sit down to a lovely meal of pretzel jell-o salad made by Brandon when...

...the stupid cows got out.

Tydon looking all so cute giving Daisy a big hug.

Isn't she hot!?!
Tydon really, really, really liked the frosting on the cake. That's the look I have when I am eating ice cream.
Pretty sure it's a slobbery kiss.
And how can we forget Grandma Andrew. She is a pretty awesome mom herself. She did put up with my dad growing up. Talk about W-O-R-K! Kidding dad.

Oh Wow! Thanks. I do have some pretty great kids if I do say so myself. I also have some pretty awesome son-in-laws, and thanks to their mothers for them. Love you all. Thanks for the nice things you said, even if some might be a little stretched. It was a great day all in all.

I second everything Kaylene said. You two are very awesome, and I love you a bunch. Thanks for being who you are, and what you stand for. We couldn't ask for more. YOU ARE GREAT!!!! and yes we will babysit when ever the time comes. Love Nana Shira

1. You could always drop the kids off on the steps with half a locket and a letter saying you'll pick him/her up after he/she has been potty trained. Nobody would know who he/she belonged to until you showed up with the other half of the locket.
2. Kami can wear jeans to church if she is wearing an awesome shirt like that. I have one just like it!
3. I love pretzel salad but the only time I made it, the jello part seeped up over the whipped topping part making it look not so appetizing. Sure tasted rad though. Like TMNT rad. Like your moms.
4. Did you take that picture during the prayer? I'm telling that you had your eyes open.
5. Who writes a comment this long?
